WOWEE!

Remember in October I made posters for my favourite horror movies, well I was scrolling through a random website and amongst their gallery of Horror of Dracula posters I stumbled across mine.

See, see here's the proof!
I sent a message to correct them and I got to learn about their campaign. You should check it out. It's a great site for fans of classic horror. All they want to do bring back the Horror Double Bill on the BBC.

Check it out: Classic Horror Campaign

Sonic the Hedgehog Fan Film

For those of yo who love SOnic the Hedgehog, or just like to see a good short film, check out this Sonic the Hedgehog fan film. It is brilliant. Look out for James Rolfe, Doug Walker and Brentalfloss. One of those projects where you envy the people involved. I hope they do more.

I Did It My Way... Thor

This is a new series of posts called "I Did It My Way...", in which I choose a subject, a comic, t.v. show etc. and create my own design and say how I would deal with it if I were given free creative control over that property (Yeah, we're in the realms of fantasy here.)

THE MIGHTY THOR

I love the character of Thor. Norse mythology is my favourite kind. If I Did It My Way, I would take Thor back to the Norse age and make it a gritty Conan-like historical piece.

Odin is the captain of a grand longboat, Thor, his son, is his second in-command. Their greatest enemy are the people of Iceland, including their general The Laughing Prince.

First Doctor: William Hartnell (1963-1966)

Well it's 2013. A new year. But, you know what, there's something more special about this year. The 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who, the longest running Sci-fi TV show. Plus a year has 12 months, which means a Doctor for every month (11) and I'll save December for my own doctor design.

So here's what I am going to do each month I will produce a drawing for that Doctor. Since January is the first month, William Hartnell should be first.
Here is the first Doctor and his Granddaughter Susan Foreman. The First Doctor was very different to what most expect, the fun, bonkers character with a love for Jelly Babies. He was orignally a bitter, crotchety Gentleman, who mellowed as the series progressed. This is certainly the most interesting series, because it is so different. I like the First Doctor serials, but be warned they can be slow.

What?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this is just cruel. I love Flash Gordon (I think it's better than Star Wars), but still, did they get the right film?!
I don't want to see what they think of Godzilla.
