Today I went to The Art of Zhen Shan Ren art exhibition at the Rye Boys Club. It is a touring exhibition, which is trying to raise awareness of the cruelty distributed to followers of the Falun Gong faith in China.
It is a hard exhibition to talk about, as it really is about seeing these horrific images created by first hand witnesses. It is in Rye until the 10th June (Sunday), so, if you can, I would recommend seeing it. I hardly knew anything about the trouble over there, and to be fair it had been covered up well. In the exhibit there is a petition to release British practitioners of the Falun Gong faith, who have been locked up in China and after seeing the images today, you really want to do something.
